Privacy Policy
1. Overview
The StarforgeBoutique content tool ("the Service") is a private application used only by the StarforgeBoutique shop owner to upload promotional videos to their own TikTok account. This policy explains what data the Service handles when a TikTok account is connected.
2. Data we collect from TikTok
- Basic profile information (scope
user.info.basic): the account's open ID, display name and avatar, used to show which account is connected. - Access and refresh tokens: used to upload videos as drafts (scope
video.upload) and to check the status of those uploads. - Upload and post status: publish IDs and post IDs returned by TikTok, used to track which videos have been posted.
We do not collect followers' data, messages, contacts, or any data about other TikTok users.
3. How we use it
The data is used only to upload the owner's own product videos to their TikTok inbox and to record whether they were posted. It is not used for advertising profiles and is never sold, rented or shared with third parties, except TikTok itself as part of the API calls.
4. Storage and security
Tokens and related data are stored on a private server controlled by the shop owner, in files readable only by the server's administrator, and are sent only to TikTok over HTTPS.
5. Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the TikTok account stays connected. Revoking access in TikTok (Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions) stops all further access. Stored tokens are deleted on request or when the account is disconnected.
6. Children
The Service is not directed at children and is not used to collect data from anyone under 18.
7. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version.
